Each year, Hayswood Foundation assists many local charitable organizations with their program and operational expenses through grant making.  Since 1985, over $9.5 million has been distributed to help those organizations help others in our community.

The Foundation currently administers six scholarship programs, helping to provide area students with an opportunity to receive a quality higher education, and become productive members of their future communities.  Since 1997, these programs have collectively awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships.

ESTATE PLANNING

If you would like to leave a gift that keeps on giving, Hayswood Foundation would be a wonderful vehicle to create a legacy.

As an example, our largest scholarship program, the G. L. & Elsie H. Downing Scholarship, began as a bequest from the estate of Mrs. Downing.  Her gift of over $3 million has, since the program's inception in 1997, resulted in more than $3 million in scholarships awarded to more than 150 students.  Her generosity and forethought will continue to help area students and their families for many years to come.

Your bequest does not have to be a million dollars.  No amount is too small to be appreciated.

Ask your attorney or estate planner to contact us for more information.
