The Matt Stahl Scholarship is available to graduates of Mason County and
St. Patrick High Schools, Maysville,
Kentucky.
BACKGROUND
The Matt Stahl Scholarship program was
established in 2007 by
Matt's parents, Marc and Margie Stahl of
Maysville, after the sudden death in 2004 of their son while he was a student at
Thomas More College. Matt was an outgoing young man with
a variety of interests, as well as a fine student. It was said of
Matt that regardless of where you found him... on the basketball court,
on the baseball diamond, or in the classroom... when you found him you
found a friend.
The Program
seeks to reward young people who excel in the classroom, in
extracurricular activities, and in service to their communities.
